Gain powerful job skills in a growing field: take a course in Electronic Health Records.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of Health Information Technicians is projected to grow much faster than the average occupation in coming years, with an expected 20% increase through 2018. This course will examine the widespread use of electronic health records (EHR) as medical practices transition away from paper-based systems.

Students will also explore the fundamental demand for diagnostic tests, medical treatment and procedures; a result of the aging baby boomer population. How can you be prepared to help patients navigate their electronic centered health care? Take this course and learn the practical applications of the Electronic Health Record in the Physician’s Office and our role in this ever-changing and growing occupation and gain powerful job skills.
