This 4-session core-centric workshop is all about building strength from deep within your core. We'll sequence Pilates exercises with yoga poses to maximize the benefits of every movement. Work it, work it, work it!! Get strong, feel energized and look amazing!! And on top of all that, you'll still get the stress reduction, feel-good-all-over benefits of a mind-body practice. Attendees will receive a guest pass to attend one Wednesday evening Core: Pilates & Yoga class.
Barbara Lande is a graduate of the Advanced Studies Program at the Yoga Room in Berkeley. She studies with Donald Moyer and Sandy Blaine, among others, and has 20 years of Pilates training, 11 years as a student of Jean-Claude West. Barbara became interested in movement as a teen gymnast and later taught gymnastics, flexibility and conditioning classes. She studied theatre dance in college with Broadway dancer Shamus Murphy. You’ll find Barbara loves sharing her knowledge with her students.
