Bird Hike: Pick a Peck of Pickled Pipers

Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center, Neighbor

This vast area of salt ponds and restored salt marsh supports thousands of sandpipers each winter.  If we are lucky we will spot huge balls of peeps evading predators such as Peregrine Falcons.  Meet at the Eden Landing Ecological Reserve parking lot at the corner of Clawiter and Arden in Hayward. Ages 12 and up. $5.
