Big Spring Flea Market tables on sale!

  • The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District’s Kenneth Aitken Senior & Community Center has table space available for it’s BIG SPRING FLEA MARKET to be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 8:00am-1:00pm at the Kenneth C. Aitken Senior and Community Center located at 17800 Redwood Road in Castro Valley.


    Table rentals are $25.00 each for HARD residents and $35.00 each for non-residents.  Registration will be accepted in person at the K.C. Aitken Senior Center, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm starting Friday, January 18, 2013.  Deposits are non-refundable and space is limited to tables on hand.  There is a limit of 2 tables per person.  Register early, as the tables will sell out fast!


    If you have a closet full of items you would like to get rid of; join us at the Kenneth C. Aitken Senior Center’s “Big Spring Flea Market!”

Another problem: When notified of a reply to a comment I could click the link in the email to go toRead More the article. That was not possible this time. So because a small minority zooms there computer the layout should be as it is? I don't think so. All that white space means that an article that could be read with just one or two clicks to scroll through is now going to take more scrolling to view. One thing that seems to be missing in today's world are web designers who (1) change the layout just because and (2) web designers who have neglected to consider the audience. The more I look at this layout the less I like it. The font needs to be darker than it is. the blue (like in "announcements") needs to be bolder. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 best), I rank the new "improved" design a 3.
