An Afternoon With Amadeus

The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra is thrilled to announce its annual Spring Gala, "An Afternoon With Amadeus," at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, at the historic and architecturally stunning City Club of San Francisco, located in the Stock Exchange Tower at 155 Sansome Street.

Beginning with a 4:00 wine reception, guests will enjoy sumptuous hors d'oeuvres followed by an exhilarating program featuring music (and special appearances) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Afternoon formal or period attire is encouraged.
Performing with members of the renowned SF Chamber Orchestra are soloists mezzo-soprano Lara Nie; SFCO flutist Tod Brody; and SFCO concertmaster Robin Sharp.

Adding to the evening's festivities will be live auction items featuring several exclusive and fun packages, including: a week's stay at a gorgeous Paris apartment; an evening of sushi, sake, and Schubert for eight with pianist Jon Nakamatsu, prepared by the chef at Atami Sushi Bar and Grill; a recital by concertmaster Robin Sharp at the winning bidder's own private event; and a week's stay in a luxurious private condo in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

As the organization's only fundraising event, the gala will help to support the Orchestra's complete season of admission-free concerts and educational outreach programs throughout the Bay Area.

Information and tickets can be obtained at: sfchamberorchestra.org/events/gala

The SFCO is dedicated to making classical music accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds in the Bay Area.
