Week in Review—Of Blogs and Geese

The week that was.

San Lorenzo Patch is having a party! To celebrate our seven-month mark in the community, we'll be at Fresh Pizza on Thursday, May 12, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with free food and drinks. We hope to see you there! In the meantime, let's look back at the week that was. 

Monday: Local residents in Pakistan by U.S. forces. was shuttered by an early morning fire, and celebrated 55 years on Lewelling.  

Tuesday: The San Lorenzo Unified School District at Tuesday night's meeting.

Wednesday: The (literally) and San Lorenzo Patch introduced our first bloggers! Keep your eyes peeled for them in the weeks to come.

Thursday: San Lorenzo sooner than expected, thanks to a county proposal to plan for two stations — San Lorenzo and Cherryland — at the same time. 

Friday: Patch caught up with 4 Paws Goose Control, a San Lorenzo-based company that helps keep the local goose population in check.

Saturday: One local family after a fire broke out in their Meekland duplex, destroying the home and killing the family's pet birds and fish.

Sunday: Local teachers gear up for a statewide Demonstrations will include a grade-in at the Bayfair mall and a rally in San Francisco.
