Slide Show: Valley Blues Festival Raises Money for Good Causes

Valley Blues Festival, sponsored by the Rotary Club, brings blues enthusiasts to Castro Valley.

Local blues fans turned out for the second annual at the rodeo grounds. In addition to to the music, there was food to be eaten, beer to be drank and wares to be bought. Vendors sold items including jewelry, sheets and baked goods. 

Castro Valley schools proved to be the big winners. Save Our Schools Castro Valley sold food donated by . Castro Valley High School's also got in on the action with games and prizes for the younger attendees. 

The through last year’s Valley Blues Festival allowed the to fund a wide variety of causes throughout Castro Valley including , Youth Sports, Performing Arts and Activities, , , Rowell and , Foundation and International Projects such as Polio Eradication, Haiti Earthquake Relief, Library Construction in Belize, Demining mine fields in Croatia and hosting International Exchange Professionals from Brazil, as well as many more worthy causes.
