We're launching a special edition of our popular Readers' Choice contest by asking Patch readers to pick their favorite businesses in six categories.
In the Health and Beauty category we want your nominations for:
- Best Hair Salon (Women's)
- Best Barber (Men's)
- Best Fitness Center
- Best Waxing Parlor
The deadline for nominations is July 9.

Voting begins July 23. That's when you'll be able to choose the winners in each category by marking your preference in a poll of the top nominees.
When this process is finished in August, we'll have created a guide that friends, neighbors and visitors can use to find Newark's favorites.
