To understand what it's all about, click to see the Castro Valley Patch story that ran on Tuesday morning. If the nurses go on strike for one day, the hospital will lock them out for five days, per contracts with replacements already hired and ready to go.

On Thurday, Patch photograpther AJ Flores reported that the nursing chief at said 41 percent of the nursing staff crossed the picket line and reported for work.
