Sprouts & Shutters: OSH On Lewelling Is Going, Going But Not Yet Gone

The signs are up but the closure date is not yet set.

 

We've been waiting and perhaps regretting it ever since Patch reported last July that the Orchard Supply Hardware on Lewelling Boulevard would be closing.

Now the time is nigh. The "everything must go" clearance signs are up at the popular store.

But OSH spokesman Rick Saunders said he isn't sure precisely when the San Lorenzo store will finally and forever shut its doors.

Meanwhile, OSH is discounting most merchandize to the tune of about 10 percent, though the sales could intensify as the shelves empty and the shutdown nears.

In October it was learned that OSH would refurbish its San Leandro store
