Results Are In! Readers Choose Best Sushi Restaurant

And the winner is...

The results are in and was named the best sushi restaurant in

iSushi edged out it's competitor, , by one vote.

The sushi restaurant located in the Castro Village shopping center was called "unique" by several diners.

One had the following to say on Castro Valley Patch: "If you like unique sushi that is made with thought and care, this is your place. Stanley is an artist and his sushi chefs are fantastic. Well worth the cost. But you MUST also do the iSushi Wasabi Shot!!! Who else has done the wasabi shot? aka, Wasabi Bombs!!! Love 'em."

Another said: "If you want the standard california roll, it's okay. However, if you're looking for an experience in sushi that is well thought out, w/tastes and textures that are totally different, this is the place. Sashimi is very fresh. Selection of hamachi and bluefin melts in your mouth. My personal favorite, Inferno roll, but Stanley, the owner, keeps coming up w/new dishes. I just can't keep up."

Both rated the restaurant with five stars.
