After , a few readers have expressed concern, wondering if is to follow.
For several weeks, the restaurant has remained mostly closed.
However, Co-Owner Frank Gemignani said folks can rest assured. Pyzano's will not be closing down permanently. He told Patch that the eatery is currently undergoing plumbing repair issues.
Gemignani hopes to reopen the restaurant as soon possible.
Editor's Note: The updated post on this from April 1 regarding Pyzano's opening for dinner that evening was incorrect information. In no way was that an "April Fools Joke" either. The store remains closed for now as the plumbing issues continue to get resolved.
not opening. Thanks!
I'd also like to propose that the 50s restaurant that Frank Gemignani was supposed to open several years ago (located next to Rudy's Donuts) never opened despite comments stating that they would. It hasn't been until a new owner came in that movement has been made on the restaurant. Not sure that I believe (or understand why he would even state) any comments suggesting that he will definitely reopen. Frank really hasn't proven himself to be truthful. I will miss going to Pyzano's and the wonderful food we always got there along with all the staff that made going there such a treat. Castro Vally can write this one up as a loss along with several other establishments that we have lost just this year alone.
