Primary focus:

To enhance the customer shopping experience and to drive sales by providing proactive sales assistance and support to OSH customers. Sales associates provide frontline contact with the customer in the department and provide customer assistance and support to ensure that the customer’s shopping experience is positive.

Sales associates are expected to follow the 5 A's of "Solution Selling": listen, discover, and understand customer’s needs, educate customers on options available, and provide assistance and support after the sale.

He/she is responsible for accomplishing the business goals for sales and profit; recognize and acknowledge the customer at all times, provide service to all customers, control inventory of department merchandise, maintain housekeeping, safety and security within the department.

Qualifications:

Experience
• 1-2 years of general retail sales experience or equivalent
• Customer service experience

• Basic computer skills
