Job of the Week: RN to Help Eden Medical Center Transition into New Facility

Job Title:  Director of Facility Operational Planning and Transition

Location:  San Francisco East Bay–Solano-Castro Valley

Primary Focus: Manage and lead the process of planning work flow for facility projects.

This position will support the transition of the Castro Valley campus of Eden Medical Center into the new hospital facility scheduled to open November 2012. This is a limited term position that may continue for some time after the facility is operational.

Responsibilities: Participate in planning, budgeting, specifying, selecting, procuring, receiving and installing medical equipment, non-medical equipment and furnishings. Develop strategies to ensure that the completed facilities utilize the latest technology possible in an integrated fashion. 

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care administration or a related health field

Preferred Education: Master's degree in nursing or health care administration or a related health field

Minimum Experience: Five years of experience and knowledge in all phases of hospital operations so that the appropriate services and relationship linkages are known and understood.

Demonstrated Knowledge and Skills: Advanced project management, communication and leadership skills. Strong nursing, professional clinical practices, technological and medical staff knowledge

Licensure/Certification: RN

Salary: 110,000- $135,000 plus benefits, exempt status, no union
