Free Towing Thanksgiving For Drinking Drivers
AAA Tipsy Tow once again offers a ride home for you and your car within a 10 mile range
AAA Insurance Company will once again offer a free tow home to drinking drivers (and their vehicles) in Northern California on Thanksgiving. The service is available regardless of whether or not you are a AAA member.
Called "Tipsy Tow", the free program is provided to those who call its hotline at 800-222-4357 and announce to the operator that they are in need of a Tipsy Tow.

A tow truck will respond and provide a ride to the drinking driver's home within a 10 mile radius. It will operate from 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening until 6 a.m. the next morning.
The insurance company provides Tipsy Tow throughout the year on holidays which commonly bring groups of people together and may be associated with alcohol being consumed. It will offer tows on Christmas and New Years eves later this year. It also has traditionally offered tows for the Superbowl, St. Patrick's Day, Cinco De Mayo, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and Halloween.
