Castro Valley Gas Station Opens For the Week To Keep Permits Current

Unleaded gasoline is being sold for $3.55 a gallon.

Gas is flowing at the gasoline station located on the corner of Castro Valley Boulevard and Stanton Avenue.

A man who identified himself as an aid to the property owner but wished to be unnamed said the gas station opens up to the public annually for about a week in order to keep its permits current.

He also mentioned rumors of the property soon being sold and having the station opened permanently. However, this has been said about three or four times over the past few years, he added.

Unleaded gasoline is being sold at $3.55 a gallon — one of the lowest costs for gas in the area according to GasBuddy.com. is the only other station selling gas at $3.55 a gallon this week.
