Updated 3 p.m.

An Amber Alert for a young mother and her two-month old-daughter out of Alameda County was canceled this afternoon after the two were found in Oakland "in good health" according to authorities.

Angelica Lopez, 17, and her two-month-old daughter Enalina Hernandez were abducted on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at gunpoint by the baby's father, Marcos Hernandez.

NBC Bay Area reports that police responded to a report of an assault and kidnapping Wednesday night at the 2700 block of Alvingroom Court. After arriving at the scene, officers learned that Lopez and her daughter had allegedly been kidnapped at gunpoint by Hernandez.

At about 2:35 p.m., today, the Oakland Police Department's Patrol Division and investigators from Youth and Family Services located Lopez and her daughter in Oakland while continuing to follow-up investigative leads.

Officers are still looking for Hernandez and the case is under investigation.

It would help a lot if they posted her picture so we know what she looks like!

so where is the father at now ? put him in jail for awhile . what was he doing with a gun ? how did he get a gun at his young age ? make him go and get a job and support the baby and get the young ones off welfare . hope the young girl and baby are doing fine now . she should leave the guy now before something worse happens .

Babies having Babies...Three more people added to a Statistical Chart somewhere in California's State Office. That's a Shame.

I'm so glad they are safe, and James babies having babies is a major part of many of the problems facing young teenagers. It doesn't take them very long to learn that babies aren't toys.

If CV is great, and I am not disputing that fact, why would you want to change it's nature?Read More Wouldn't that change the very things that you are trying to protect and preserve?

You can't compare Castro Valley with Menlo Park. Menlo Park is on the edge of Silicon Valley and hasRead More much more income per capita than Castro Valley could ever hope to have. Certainly the county is a lousy and unfair administrator, but we can at least afford them (somewhat). It is extremely unlikely that we could support a city unless you lie a lot about our finances like the incorporation proponents did during the last election.
