Youth Remixing the Art of Community Change March 23

Event will be held at Edendale Middle School in San Leandro and will showcase variety of artists

 

Youth Remixing the Art of Community Change (YRACC), an annual event celebrating the ways in which people use art and expression to transform themselves and their community will be held March 23 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Edendale Middle School, San Lorenzo.

The event is hosted by the Ashland Youth Center Project and will bring together talented local youth. All ages are welcome to attend.

Young people from Furthering Youth Inspiration (FYI), , and elsewhere will perform.

Ashland Youth Center's Youth Leadership Panel will announce the new name of the Ashland Youth Center Project. There will also be a presentation from Furthering Youth Inspiration and Beats Rhymes and Life

Artists will be featured at the event, including some of the area's most talented media, mural, photo and performance artists. There will also be other special guests and a live DJ to provide entertainment.
