When it comes to talent and making a difference in the community, several teens from San Lorenzo, Ashland and San Leandro definitely have their act together.
More than a dozen performed on stage at the hall during ,"So You Think You Got Talent," on Thursday evening.
FYI is a local youth leadership program under the Deputy Sheriffs' Activities League that focuses on developing middle and high school youth in the unincorporated areas of Alameda County. The program guides them into becoming active members in the community by reinforcing values, providing service opportunities and planning events.
An audiance of around 100 cheered in support as dancers, singers and musicians kept the crowd entertained.
