Thousands Expected at CVHS This Weekend for Christian Music Festival

Enduring Word Music Festival will celebrate its fifth year at Castro Valley High School. Though the event is free, donations welcomed to benefit CVHS.

The is staking its claim as one of the Bay Area’s largest Christian music events.

Now in its fifth year, thousands are expected to attend the event held at Castro Valley High School from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11. It will feature great food, a large children’s fun zone and many vendor booths.

Of course the main attraction is the music. Local and national recording artists will satisfy a wide range of tastes.

is not only the venue for the event, the school will also benefit from fundraising efforts during the event. While the event is free, Enduring Word will solicit donations, 100 percent of which will go directly to the high school.

“We have something for everyone, from Jazz to Rock to Hip Hop. The Enduring Word Music Festival 5.0 is sure to please the whole family,” said festival director AJ Flores.

Artists include Luis Lenzi, Transparent, Ryan Stevenson, Racing 24/7, Martin Cantu of L-Rey, Fuego, and the Luz Del Valle Worship Team. There will also be a number of speakers throughout the day.

This year Enduring Word is very pleased to announce the addition of the food trucks. Food Truck Mafia will be bringing the awesome street eats to Castro Valley. Trucks will include Pizza Pimps, My Shrimp Shack, Rice Rockit, Street Dogs, Blue Saigon, Truckin’ Sweet, and Twister Truck.

“We’re excited to be hosting the food trucks in Castro Valley” Flores said. “These are local home-grown businesses bringing excellent-quality food and upholding high standards."

Another problem: When notified of a reply to a comment I could click the link in the email to go toRead More the article. That was not possible this time. So because a small minority zooms there computer the layout should be as it is? I don't think so. All that white space means that an article that could be read with just one or two clicks to scroll through is now going to take more scrolling to view. One thing that seems to be missing in today's world are web designers who (1) change the layout just because and (2) web designers who have neglected to consider the audience. The more I look at this layout the less I like it. The font needs to be darker than it is. the blue (like in "announcements") needs to be bolder. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 best), I rank the new "improved" design a 3.
