Since 1994, the Jenny Lin Foundation has been dedicated to improving the safety and well being of the community.  The Summer Music Program is one of the major program services of the Foundation.

Each year during the months of June and July, the Foundation offers six weeks of free practice sessions to music students, and showcases their talents to the general public through the concert performance near the end of July. Over the past 18 years, more than 3,500 young musicians have enjoyed the benefits of the free Jenny Lin Summer Music Program.

After 18 years of cultivation, the Jenny Lin Concert, which was started by a small group of Jenny’s musician friends who wanted to keep her memory alive, has now grown into a giant summer music camp.

This year, more than 300 young musicians, between the ages of 12 to 18, have participated in the Jenny Lin Summer Music Camp, and will perform in the concert this coming Friday. The musicians come from over 50 schools in 13 cities throughout the East Bay — the largest group of performers to date.

The concert is just one of the major program services sponsored by the Jenny Lin Foundation. Other Foundation-sponsored programs include scholarships for young musicians, safety awareness program, and the

A $100,000 reward is available for anyone with information leading to the lawful conviction of Jenny's killer.

Another problem: When notified of a reply to a comment I could click the link in the email to go toRead More the article. That was not possible this time. So because a small minority zooms there computer the layout should be as it is? I don't think so. All that white space means that an article that could be read with just one or two clicks to scroll through is now going to take more scrolling to view. One thing that seems to be missing in today's world are web designers who (1) change the layout just because and (2) web designers who have neglected to consider the audience. The more I look at this layout the less I like it. The font needs to be darker than it is. the blue (like in "announcements") needs to be bolder. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 best), I rank the new "improved" design a 3.
