Free Museum Passes Available to Alameda County Residents

A new program provides library cardholders who are Alameda County residents with free passes to local museums and cultural institutions.

Free passes to museums make it easy to explore fun places such as the Lindsay Wildlife Museum, the Exploratorium and the Aquarium of the Bay.

Under a new program called Discover & Go, Alameda County Library cardholders who are Alameda County residents can apply online for free passes to a growing number of venues and attractions.

Each Discover & Go pass expires after the reservation date—no returns required and no possibility for overdue fines. Customers without Internet access can reserve a pass by telephone or reserve and print in person at any Alameda County library.
