The 100th Anniversary of Women's Right to Vote in California

Help us celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Right to Vote in California, which was granted on October 10, 1911.

The program includes:

* a living history portrayal by the
San Leandro Players of those fighting for the right to vote and their fierce opponents.

* Vocalist Rebecca Sulek and pianist Tania Johnsonwill lead us in a sing-along of Suffrage Marching Songs.

* Watch history unfold as you view the highly
acclaimed film documentary “One Woman, One Vote.” (Film length is 106 minutes.)

 The League of Women Voters will be there to register any attendee of this program to vote if she isn’t already registered.

There will be a meet and greet reception with tea and cookies after the program.
