NATALIE LUPTON JUNTZ
Natalie was born and raised in Hayward, California, and attended Markham, Bret Harte and Hayward High School. She graduated from Cal State, Hayward in 1973, and
became a teacher for Fremont Unified School District. Natalie served on the Board of Directors of Sun Gallery from 1976 through 1982. She retired from teaching in 1994 and began painting in oils. She is primarily a colorist and surrounds herself with vibrant painting, both her own and other artists’.
She enjoys traveling and shoots photos with two things in mind: a record of her trip and future subjects to paint. Her images will take form from one or a composite of several photos. She has exhibited in both the East Bay and Tri-Valley areas in the past. This is her first solo exhibit at the Sun Gallery.
Natalie and her husband, Bob Juntz, are members of Redwood Chapel Church, enjoy competitive running, ballroom dancing and playing bridge. Natalie is also a
member of the Women’s Board of the Oakland Museum and a volunteer at the annual White Elephant Sale which benefits the education department of the
Oakland Museum as well as its gallery exhibitions.
