Community Day Celebration

Come celebrate "Days of the Dead Community Day" at Meek Park in Hayward. The event will feature a Days of the Dead ceremony led by Yolana Aranda with Xaguia Aztec dancers, folklore music and dancing by Mariachi Juvenil de Hayward and Grupo Folklorico Tlapalli, musical performances by Blanca, Jesus Cisneros, Viviane DeLeon Bias and Solo Amigos, a play by the Chabot College Theatre, food vendors, arts and crafts, and activities for kids.

Bring canned food for the community altar, and the food will be donated to a local food bank.
