Cherryland's Forth Annual Easter Eggstravaganza

The Cherryland Community Association will hold its forth Annual Easter Eggstravaganza on March 31 at Meek Estate and Park.

The following events are as scheduled:

9 a.m. REGISTRATION

  • Sign-in and enter contests for Bonnet Parade and Decorated Eggs

 9 a.m. PICTURES WITH THE EASTER BUNNY 

  • In Gazebo throughout the day when he is not busy with his other duties during the Bonnet Parade and Egg Hunt, etc.

9 a.m. Alameda County Deputy Sheriff’s Activity League Mobile Recreation

  • On North Lawn

9 a.m. FACE PAINTING, SIDEWALK CHALK AND CRAFT ACTIVITIES

10 a.m. BONNET PARADE

  • Led by the Easter Bunny around the fountain. Children only please — except for infants carried by a parent. 
  • (Entry number required – obtain at Registration table)           

10:30 a.m. EGG HUNTS

  • On the West lawn in front of the Gazebo. Children only – NO parents allowed (except with 1-2 year olds)
  1. 10:30 a.m.    1 – 2 years
  2. 10:45 a.m.    3 – 5 years
  3. 11 a.m.         6 – 8 years
  4. 11:15 a.m.    9 – 12 years

11:30 a.m. JUDGING OF DECORATED EASTER EGGS

  • 3 – 5 years,  6– 8 years,  9 - 12 years
  • (Entry number required – obtain at Registration table)

11:30 a.m. EGG ROLL BEGINS 

  • On South Lawn at the rear of the Mansion
  • 3 – 5 years,  6– 8 years,  9 - 12 years

1 p.m. CLOSING, PRIZES AWARDED, RAFFLE DRAWING & CLEAN-UP

Please…

  • Don’t litter and pick up after yourself
  • Recycle plastic eggs at CCA booth
  • Make a donation at the Cherryland Community Association booth to help make this event possible again next year.
