Congratulations to D. Hamilton for correctly guessing. The thingamajig can be found on the side of near Ashland Avenue. Keith Barros mentioned "I believe it is or was the exhaust mechanism to pull out the sawdust from the woodworking machines inside San Lorenzo High's wood shop."
