Castro Valley High Journalism teacher Matt Johanson passed on a video get-well card for fellow faculty member Nick Whitaker, who underwent successful surgery for cancer this week.
'Dubb' as he is widely known, is a mentor to many students, especially those who take his Leadership class, which tackles real-world issues like reducing waste at Castro Valley High.
