Packed Alley for Rotary's First Outdoor Movie Night Series

Castro Valley Rotary drew in a crowd of close to 100 movie-goers for its outdoor movie night series aimed at helping support boulevard businesses during construction. The next will be July 26.

By Rotary Club of Castro Valley

By all accounts, the first of four was a success!

With a crowd of nearly 100 people settling in for the movie, popcorn could be heard popping in the background.

The Rotary Club of Castro Valley wishes to thank our friends and neighbors who came out to enjoy a movie under the stars — right in downtown Castro Valley.

You are awesome for showing support for our growing and changing downtown, and we very much look forward to seeing you at our next Outdoor Movie Night.

Join us in the Castro Village Shopping Center on July 26 for a screening of “The Adventures of Tintin.” We’ll be set up in the parking lot near Aran’s Art Studio, one of our Outdoor Movie Night sponsors.

The series includes the following dates, movies and viewing locations:

  • July 26 — Adventures of Tin Tin, @ the Village parking lot
  • August 9 — Soul Surfer, @ alley way by Knudsen's
  • August 23 — Big Miracle, @ the Village parking lot

Speaking of sponsors, there’s no time like the present to show these wonderful businesses your love for making these Outdoor Movie Nights possible:

  • Castro Village Shopping Center
  • Alameda County Community Development Center

Take a look at these photos from the event.

For more information on how you can be a sponsor of this event please contact us at 510-502-5123. Also visit the Castro Valley Outdoor Movie Nights Facebook Page.
