New Year's Eve, New Year's Day Runs at Lake Chabot

Say goodbye to 2013 with the “Brazen New Year’s Eve Runs” at Lake Chabot on Saturday, Dec. 28.

Participants can run a half marathon, 10K or 5K. 

Start times will be: 8:30 a.m. for the half marathon, 8:55 a.m. for the 10K and 9:10 a.m. for the 5K.

Half marathon participants that plan to hike the course and take more than 4.5 hours can start at 7:30 a.m. with the “Hiker Start”. These participants won’t be eligible to win the race or for group age awards. They will be listed as finishers in the Hikers Division and receive finisher medals.

Age groups award will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age category. All runners will receive finisher medals and custom shirts.
