Castro Valley area residents are invited to come face-to-face with a gopher snake, make a butterfly nature craft and find out about the animals that live in our oak woodlands, grasslands, marshes and streams.
On July 22 the East Bay Regional Park District Mobile Visitor Center will pay a visit to from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can read more about Cull Canyon here. It is located at 18627 Cull Canyon Road, Castro Valley.
On Aug. 4 the visitor center will be at Don Castro Regional Recreation Area, also from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Don Castro is located on the Castro Valley/Hayward boundary at 22400 Woodroe Avenue, Hayward.
This is an opportunity to ask questions about regional parks and trails.
