Greetings From Your New Local Editor!

Hello Castro Valley! My name is Amanda Aguilar, and I will be your new Patch Local Editor. I recently graduated from Dominican University of California in San Rafael, CA. I received my bachelor’s of art degree in communication and media studies with an emphasis in multimedia journalism. During my four years at Dominican University, I was a part of my university’s newspaper staff – taking the role as Campus Life Editor and then becoming Managing Editor. I have also interned at ABS-CBN as a segment producer/production intern.

 I am very excited to be Castro Valley’s Local Editor.
