The Castro Valley Mom's Club will hold its Annual Preschool Fair on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm at the Castro Valley Public Library.
The event is open to everyone in the community, and is free to attend.
Representatives of several area preschools, daycares, and children's activity and enrichment programs will be on hand to share information with parents about their offerings.
If anyone has any questions about the preschool fair, contact organizer Sara Raymond. Any representative of a preschool, daycare, or enrichment program and would like to be part of the preschool fair should also contact Sara at firstname.lastname@example.org
In the past the Mom's Club has held a coat drive that was publicized on Patch. Raymond says the group collected nearly 500 coats at that event.
"We took so many coats up to East Bay Community Law Center that they couldn't take them all, so I called the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition and they were able to find a distribution outlet for the coats that EBCLC couldn't use," Raymond wrote. "We also collected gifts for 116 kids . . . It was an incredible experience."
