In the past the Mom's Club has held a coat drive that was publicized on Patch. Raymond says the group collected nearly 500 coats at that event.

"We took so many coats up to East Bay Community Law Center that they couldn't take them all, so I called the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition and they were able to find a distribution outlet for the coats that EBCLC couldn't use," Raymond wrote. "We also collected gifts for 116 kids . . . It was an incredible experience."
