Castro Valley Girl Scout Graces Billboard to Promote Cookie Sales

Six-year-old Castro Valley resident Madison Glock, a Daisy Girl Scout from Girl Scouts of Northern California, is one of three girls to win a contest co-sponsored by the scouts and the California Milk Processor Board (CMPB), the creator of the GOT MILK? campaign.

Glock and the other girls will be on the billboard promoting Girl Scout cookie sales — and milk, the preferred dunking medium.

The billboard will be up throughout the month of February at Grand Avenue and Broadway in Downtown Oakland.

Glock also won a camp scholarships and $500.

More than three million boxes of Girl Scout cookies have been delivered and will be on sale through March 17.
