A winning lottery ticket was purchased in Union City Friday, netting the winner hundreds of thousands, while another ticket in Southern California hit the jackpot, lottery officials said.

Lottery officials said a ticket purchased at the Island Pacific Supermarket located at 4122 Dyer St. matched five of the six numbers drawn. The winning five numbers - 15, 10, 54, 1 and 41 - earned the ticket holder $233,651.

A ticket purchased in Los Angeles matched the aforementioned five numbers, as well as the Mega number, 9. Hitting the jackpot earned that ticket holder $30 million, officials said.

The winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

Many congratulations to the winner. Wouldn't we all just love to pick up a similar jackpot! I don't know yet if this will work, but here's what I do to try and secure a win. I have a little just-for-fun page which generates my own personal quick pick (lucky dip) numbers. As I say, it is only for fun, but it might work - you just never know your luck! Look out for VillaLibra Lucky Numbers if you want to see if you can locate it yourself.
