It's getting close to Rowell Ranch Rodeo Parade and Chili Cook-Off time again.
Put on by Castro Valley Rotary, the Chili Cook-Off will be on Friday May 11 and the Parade on Saturday, May 12. Those who want to enter either or both events can do so now by visiting www.cvchilicookoff.com and www.RowellRanchRodeoParade.com.
The theme for the parade this year is 'Be A Part of Progress' to highlight all the improvements in Castro Valley over the last several years. That includes the , , CVHS Sports Stadium, as well as the .
