150 Volunteers to Give Rowell Ranch Rodeo Park Facelift for Rodeo Season

The corrals, chutes and parts of the arena will all be painted this Saturday.

The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (H.A.R.D.) is excited to announce that it will be receiving assistance from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) – Helping Hands Project on Saturday, April 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Rowell Ranch Rodeo Park in Castro Valley.

Volunteer Hayward will be coordinating this year’s Helping Hands Project which is a day where the local LDS Stakes comes out to support community projects.

H.A.R.D. will provide the supplies and materials while church members will volunteer their hard-work, time and energy to the Rowell Ranch Rodeo Park project.

The entire facility will receive a makeover for the upcoming rodeo season – repainting of corrals, chutes and various components of the rodeo arena.

This will be one of the largest beautification projects to date. 150 volunteers are expected to participate.
