Low-cost micro-chipping for dogs will be offered at the July 19 Niles Dog Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. by Golden Gate Basset Rescue.

Dr. Mark Madden D.V.M. and Nanci Rider R.V.T. will be on hand to microchip the public's pets using 24PetWatch.com chips which can be universally read and which include lifetime registration.  Cost of the micro-chipping is $25 per pet with proceeds going to the rescue organization.

The Northern California rescue group will also have basset hounds on site for the public to meet and greet and will offer games, give-aways, a chance to win t-shirts and other prizes and cold drinks at its booth.
