Hayward Promise Neighborhood (HPN) will host the Healthy Promise Run, Walk, Stroll and Roll & Community Resource Expo on Saturday, April 5th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Hayward.
This free event will begin with a 5K walk/run around John Muir Center. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate. Following the run/walk, participants will enjoy a HPN parade that will include staff and students from each of the HPN schools and various HPN parents, community members and leaders involved in the HPN effort. The parade will march up Soto Road leading to the Community Resource Expo at the Eden Area Greenway, featuring: entertainment, kids activities, door prizes, food and more.

Walk/Run – 8:30 am (check-in) run/walk – 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at John Muir Center: 24823 Soto Road, Hayward
HPN parade – 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. - Up Soto Road leading to the Eden Area Greenway
Community Resource Expo – 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Eden Area Greenway (Soto Road, between Berry and Culp)
