A workshop offered by the will be held December 8 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at which the movie, "Story of Electronics" will be screened.
This is a chance to learn about electronic waste and how to reduce it. It is free and open to the public.
The workshop will include a real-life e-waste problem exercise participants will tackle and a discussion. There will also be time for those attending to network with others interested in the waste reduction field.
The event is open to all and college students, young professionals and adults interested in reducing the volume of trash going into landfills are especially encouraged to attend. It is not limited to Castro Valley residents.
Children age 13 and under attending, must be accompanied by an adult.
