The Alliance for the Visual Arts is excited to host the third annual Tri Valley Artist Studio Tour (TVAST) on May 4th and 5th, from 10am-5pm on both days. The tour spans five cities - San Ramon, Danville, Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore - and features a total of 100 artists across 16 different sites. Visual mediums include painting, photography, mixed media,&nbsp;sculpture, printmaking, textiles, collage, drawing, glasswork and jewelry. The event is free and open to the public, allowing one on one conversation with the artists, art demonstrations,&nbsp;and offering a vast array of original artwork for sale. From highly skilled&nbsp;pieces that require months of work to more affordable prints and souvenir-like pieces by which to remember the event by - there is art and fun available for everyone.
There will be a self-guided bike tour this year and online maps available for visitors to download and plan their weekend with. Paired with our online catalogue of artists and mediums, anyone can easily plan out&nbsp;routes ahead of time based on which artists they want to see. If you'd like your route planned for you, there will be a Bike&nbsp;Tour + Picnic Package put on by Pedego E-Bike of Livermore, which includes lunch from The Press in Livermore, a picnic at Charles R Winery, and art tour stops along the way.&nbsp;Visit TVASTart.com for more info.&nbsp;
For the full TVAST experience, be sure to visit home studios that will be open on Friday May 3rd, from 5-8pm for Select Venues Sneak Peek Friday. These small venues offer intimate settings and art demonstrations by which the public may learn how their local artists function in their creative spaces. Anyone who visits any of the home studios on Friday evening can enter a drawing to win a Grand Prize&nbsp;free original acrylic pour painting by TVAST '24 Director and award-winning artist Linda Ryan.

Every four years, the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) prepares a Countywide Area Plan for Older Adults (CWAP) that strategizes decisions, partnerships, and improvements throughout Alameda County for residents aged 55+. The services are provided by the AAA along with our network of community partners, which include the <a href="https://www.alamedacountysocialservices.org/about-us/Adult-and-Aging-Services/advisory-commission-on-aging" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Advisory Commission on Aging</a>, community-based organizations, public agencies, and the private sector.

Entry is free, but sliding scale donations are encouraged ($2-$10). Proceeds will benefit participating artists.
