Each year organizers count upon sponsors in the community to make the parade possible. The community's support in underwriting the costs of the parade enables organizers to raise the money needed to cover the cost of trophies, security, judges, out-of-town bands, stage rental, clean-up and other necessities. The Rotary Club of Castro Valley relies upon sponsors to help underwrite these costs.
