Man Who Escaped From Mental Facility Sought

Sheriff's deputies are searching for 19-year-old Isaac Benjamin Bauer (see photo) who ran away from the Villa Fairmont Mental Health Rehabilitation Clinic on Saturday.

Bauer suffers from Schizophrenia and depression and is without his medications. Family members fear he might commit suicide.

Bauer stands 5’10” and weighs 160 pounds. He has short blond hair and blue eyes. 

He was last seen wearing a black vest over a red shirt, black pants and black shoes.

He is familiar with the Berkeley/Albany area, but could be anywhere.   

Bauer is under conservatorship with Alameda County.

Anyone who knows his wherabouts should contact Alameda County Sheriff's Office Detective Greg Landeros at (510) 667-4434.

If Bauer is located by authorities he should be taken to John George Psychiatric facility or any acute care psychiatric hospital.
