Hayward police Lt. Sheryl Boykins, who coordinates the local Junior Giants program, competed against other Bay Area Junior Giants groups to have the trophy tour make a stop in Hayward.

The tour continues in East Palo Alto on Wednesday before returning to the Giants' home field at AT&T Park Sunday through next Tuesday during the World Baseball Classic.
